The Ramat Zvi neighborhood was established in the 1970s by the Ministry of Housing. In 2018, it was decided to strengthen and upgrade the buildings throughout the neighborhood in order to give it a new look and attract a younger population. As part of the TAMA 38 program, the neighborhood was completely revitalized; the old tenements were turned into modern apartment buildings with spacious apartments, green parks, regulated parking areas, and two-story semi-detached houses next to them. The population in the neighborhood is diverse – old and young, Israelis alongside new immigrants and religious alongside ultra-Orthodox and seculars. Today, the neighborhood is a real estate opportunity, and it is considered as Zichron Yaakov’s developing neighborhood. Ramat Zvi is located close to the center of the Moshava and the commercial center “Pisagat Zichron” and within a short walking distance to secular and religious educational institutions, a community center, a country club and public transportation routes.
